Chrissie White is an American Photographer, and Fiber Artist who lives off-grid in the desert of southern Colorado.

She is inspired by the different modes in which we interpret reality, and the intrinsic connection we all share with the Earth. She is particularly enthralled with the deserts, badlands, and rivers of the American Southwest, enchanted by the ancient, but delicate formations of the desert. The spirit and the tenacity of that region has left her wondering not just about how humans continue to shape the Earth, but more so how we are shaped by each other.

Her current photographic project "Our Bodies, Together In Time." was inspired by the changes that are caused due to the continual forces of natural and unnatural erosion.  Through this lens she explores the human body and spirit as an extension of the Earth's landscape...reacting to one another in every moment of our time together.
